AtholPlace Restaurant is the hidden gem of the beautiful boutique styled AtholPlace Hotel & Villa and has rapidly grown into one of the best restaurants in Johannesburg.
Situated in Atholl and close to the vibrant metropolitan Sandton City, AtholPlace Restaurant sits in a location like no other. Surrounded by an abundance of tropical trees and serenity, the restaurant extends outside onto the relaxing terrace overlooking the stunning manicured lawn and glistening hotel pool. AtholPlace Restaurant is open to hotel guests as well as outside guests for breakfast (07:00-10:00 hrs) and dinner (18:30-21:30 hrs).
Lunch is available for hotel guests only (12:00-14:30 hrs).
You can start by getting your taste buds tingling in our intimate bar and library where delicious canapés await you. Choose one of the wines from our extensive wine cellar to suit all tastes, or try a popular craft beer, brewed locally. Your waiter will then escort you to the restaurant with it’s relaxing ambiance, where timeless elegance and classic contemporary design set the mood for the culinary joys that await.
Once seated, our Chef will take you on a culinary journey by presenting an a la carte dinner menu. The carefully crafted dinner menu, consisting of a choice of 4 starters, 4 mains and a few delicious desserts, changes regularly, making every experience at AtholPlace Restaurant exciting and unique. Our passionate Chef utilizes his experience and his passion for food to create dishes of varied influence and a each dish is a true expression of flavour.

Come and enjoy our Festive Season Menu for the holidays, which can also be pre-booked for special groups and year-end functions from 19 November until 26 December 2018.
Our Head Chef Scott Dressels created a Christmas menu, keeping to the traditions of Christmas but adding his own special touch. Christmas is a time for families to spend time together and share delcious food. An all-time favourite dessert is a trifle. Scott has added “Not your Moms Trifle” to our festive menu. Expect a twist on the classic trifle recipe – saffron & vanilla panna cotta, rum jelly and candied fruit will ensure your meal ends on a magical note.
The full Christmas menu at R850 per person includes a welcome drink and a Christmas table treat!
Round up your friends and family or work colleagues and host a special year-end function (pre-booked only) and enjoy this festive menu which is available from now until 26 December at R650 per person. The menu can be booked for both lunch and dinner.
Our current lunch and dinner menus will still be available during this entire time too, except for 24, 25 & 26 December.
